Chéri began with a shift in how luxury was understood.
While studying fashion business alongside cosmetics and fragrance marketing, our founder, Akshita Pinapaty, began questioning how the beauty industry defined value. Luxury was often presented as rare, expensive and exclusive. Something to admire, but not always to experience.
Through exposure to global beauty spaces and conversations, that gap became clearer. Many products looked luxurious. Few felt intentional.
Chéri was created in response.
We believe luxury is not excess.
